How to get the OpenAI API Key?
Follow these steps to get the API key:
- Signup directly with OpenAI at https://platform.openai.com/signup (if you already have an account, you can skip this step)
- Go to Profile > View API Keys
- Create a secret key. Then copy the key to fill out in the L10nGenie app.

Your API key is stored in IndexedDB.
Is it safe to provide OpenAI API Key to L10nGenie? Does OpenAI allow this use case?
Yes. L10nGenie only stores your API Key locally and never sends your API Key anywhere. OpenAI allows use cases where the API key is stored locally in the user's device.

I have purchased but forgot my license key, how can I get it back?
You can go to https://paddle.net to access your license key.
Do I need to re-enter keys whenever I log into another computers?
Yes, your data is only saved locally per browser. If you use multiple browsers or devices, you will need to enter both your license key and OpenAI API key for each device or browser.
Is there an expiration date for the License Key?
The license key is valid forever.
Will I receive new updates after I buy a license key?
Yes, all future updates are covered for one year.
